Community Park - West of Broadway between Locast Avenue
& Lee Hill Road
Directions: From Broadway, turn west on Violet, then right on
10th and left on Cherry St. The Dog Park is located at the north
end of the park.
* Two acre fenced park
* Separate areas for both small and large dogs.
* Dogs can be off leash in the Dog Park and do not need to be
voice and sight trained.
* Dogs must be on a leash in all other areas and adhere to Dog
Park rules and regulations, which are also posted at the park.
* The park is free and open from dawn to dusk. Parking is available
at the park.
Valmont
Dog Park - 5275 Valmont Road on the north side
* Fenced area for both large and small dogs.
* Large area is about 3 acres.
* Small area is about .25 acres.
* It is a temporary dog park as Valmont City Park is still being
developed.
* A water spigot is available seasonally.
East
Boulder Park - 5660 Sioux Drive (near East Boulder Community
Center)
* Fenced area for both large and small dogs.
* Large area is about 2.5 acres.
* Small area is about .25 acres.
* There is limited water access to a small lake.
NOTE: Be careful as water quality can vary - guardians are reminded
to pick up and remove pet excrement to assist with water quality
issues.
Howard
Heuston Dog Park -Located on 34th St (South of Iris Avenue,
East of 30th Street)
*NOT FENCED IN
*Voice and Sight Control area is designated by yellow poles.
*The remainder of the park is leash law.
*The size of the Voice and Sight area is approximately 1.25
acres.

*Trail within open space area bordered by a prairie dog town.
*Requires voice and sight control.
*Dogs have access to creek with several swimming holes.

*Directions - Across from the southern part of Harper Lake in
Davidson Mesa open space.

Northglenn/Thornton:
Happy Tails Dog Park - 106th and Irma Drive, adjacent to the
Jaycee Park and softball field.
Thornton
Dog Park - Holly Street & 136th Ave

Marshall
Mesa Trailhead - Marshall Road just South of Boulder off
of Highway 93
*Dogs must be on a leash unless they have City of Boulder Voice
& Sight tags
